As a 5th generation Silvertonian, I am ready to share with you my love of the special neighborhoods and rural settings that make up this community. I enjoy keeping an eye on the local real estate market and look forward to putting that interest to work for you. If you are selling, I can help you prepare your home to show off its best features. I promise to listen to you. If you are buying, whether new to the real estate market or transitioning, we can work together to find the perfect home that meets your unique needs.
In 2003 I purchased my first home from Silverton Realty. I was impressed with their professionalism and I’m now happy to be a part of their team. My home was a 1917 cottage near downtown needing significant restoration. Returning the home to its original charm with added modern conveniences was very satisfying. Project homes are not for everyone and move-in ready homes have genuine advantages. I can guide you in finding the best fit for your lifestyle and budget.
This community is important to me and I believe in giving back. Volunteering at Mission of Hope Food Bank and Silver Creek Fellowship provides opportunities for me to contribute in meaningful ways. I also volunteer with the American Red Cross Disaster Services both locally and nationally providing assistance to families impacted by disasters. It makes me even more grateful to live in this wonderful area.
I am a graduate of Silverton High School, and returned there to teach U.S. History, Economics, and Personal Finance for the past 20 years. Some people may also remember me as “Coach Barnes” after many years of coaching volleyball and track at Silverton High. Go Foxes! During that time I also completed graduate degrees at Western Oregon University and George Fox University. All these experiences have made me ready to serve your real estate needs. We can be a great team!
